The company was founded in 1945 by the Mirable family and began as Superior Home Heating Oil Company.  Superior has provided Southeastern Pennsylvania homes with friendly, reliable, professional heating oil delivery and furnace and boiler installation and repair for seven decades.  

Stephen Koons purchased the company in 2008. Propane was added to the company in August of 2013.  Our name was changed to X-Press Energy in January 2015 to reflect the addition of propane.   We are now a  full service energy company offering propane, heating oil, as well as heating and cooling installations and service.  We currently service 1,000 families with Propane and 3,000 families with heating oil. We provide expert service with a personal touch.
